There has been significant investment in Australian urban water research during the last fifteen years, largely in response to the severe “Millennium drought” experienced through southern and eastern Australia. The end of the drought has brought increasing financial pressures with a greater focus on investment efficiency, as well as an overall decrease in total urban water research funding and the imminent end of several research partnerships and/or organisations.
Given this contraction of research funds, a key aim of WRAP is to ensure there is no loss of knowledge from the Australian urban water sector. As such, WRAP has the capability to house selected resources which fit into the scope of the portal.
